It seems for now China will continue to play the fence on the North Korea problem. I feel that eventually China will have to make a final decision of how far it is willing to support Asia’s problem child.  However, the next few weeks will be huge in determining what happens in North Korea. As the Kim Jong il’s son begins to take power and the world begins to learn more about him, I think China will be able to better assess its support for North Korea, which at this point it is just blindly throwing around.
